Die Frage ist: Wie lautet unsere Antwort?<\/a>\u00a0Von Madagaskar bis zu den Salomonen und von Kroatien bis nach Guatemala sind Franziskanerinnen und Franziskaner in Gemeinschaften t\u00e4tig, in denen die Anzeichen des Klimawandels und der Umweltzerst\u00f6rung bereits zu Krisen gef\u00fchrt haben. Heute schlie\u00dft sich Franciscans International dem dringenden Aufruf zum Klimaschutz an.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/observances\/environment-day\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Die Zeit l\u00e4uft ab, und die Natur befindet sich im Notfallmodus.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vor diesem Hintergrund begr\u00fc\u00dfen wir die wachsende Erkenntnis \u00fcber das Ausma\u00df der dreifachen planetarischen Krise aus Klimawandel, Verlust der Artenvielfalt und Umweltverschmutzung \u2013 nicht nur an der Basis, sondern auch bei den Staats- und Regierungschefs der Welt. Die k\u00fcrzlich erfolgte Verabschiedung einer Resolution der UN-Generalversammlung, die die Schlussfolgerung des Internationalen Gerichtshofs bekr\u00e4ftigt, dass Staaten eine rechtliche Verpflichtung zur Bek\u00e4mpfung des Klimawandels haben, muss ein Katalysator f\u00fcr mehr Handeln und Rechenschaftspflicht sein. Vier Tage sp\u00e4ter ver\u00f6ffentlichte Papst Leo seine erste Enzyklika\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vatican.va\/content\/leo-xiv\/en\/encyclicals\/documents\/20260515-magnifica-humanitas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Magnifica Humanitas<\/em><\/a>, die viele unserer gemeinsamen Anliegen unterstreicht, die auch die Umwelt betreffen \u2013 darunter Menschenrechtsverletzungen im Zusammenhang mit dem Abbau von Seltenen Erden, die scheinbare Normalisierung von Krieg und die Notwendigkeit des Multilateralismus. Seine Worte, die denen anderer Vertreter verschiedener Glaubensrichtungen entsprechen, erinnern uns daran, dass die Sorge um die Sch\u00f6pfung nicht nur eine politische Frage ist, sondern eine moralische Verpflichtung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Da die Zeit zur Vermeidung katastrophaler Kipppunkte rapide abl\u00e4uft, m\u00fcssen diese Erkenntnisse in politische Ma\u00dfnahmen umgesetzt werden, die niemanden zur\u00fccklassen. Im Rahmen ihrer Arbeit wird sich FI weiterhin an verschiedenen UN-Veranstaltungen und -Prozessen beteiligen, um sicherzustellen, dass Umweltschutz und Klimaschutz im Vordergrund bleiben. Letzte Woche nahm FI beispielsweise an thematischen Konsultationen im Vorfeld der laufenden Verhandlungen \u00fcber einen neuen UN-Vertrag zur Regulierung der Aktivit\u00e4ten transnationaler Unternehmen im Rahmen der internationalen Menschenrechtsgesetze teil. Dort betonte FI die Notwendigkeit, im Textentwurf eine klare Sprache in Bezug auf Umwelt und Klimawandel zu gew\u00e4hrleisten. Dieser Prozess, einschlie\u00dflich der bevorstehenden Verhandlungen im Oktober, ist weiterhin ein entscheidender Raum f\u00fcr Lobbyarbeit, um die Anliegen von Gemeinschaften einzubringen, die direkt von unternehmerischen Aktivit\u00e4ten betroffen sind \u2013 einer der Hauptursachen f\u00fcr globale Umweltsch\u00e4den.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4chste Woche reist FI nach Bonn, Deutschland, zu einer Nebenveranstaltung der UN-Klimarahmenkonvention (UNFCCC). Aufbauend auf unserer Arbeit bei der letzten UN-Klimakonferenz (COP30) in Brasilien werden wir unsere Lobbyarbeit f\u00fcr einen gerechten \u00dcbergang fortsetzen und dabei Forschungsergebnisse von Basisgemeinschaften an der Front des Klimawandels vorstellen. W\u00e4hrend dieser Sitzung und der bevorstehenden COP31 in der T\u00fcrkei wird FI erneut betonen, dass ein wirklich gerechter \u00dcbergang nicht nur eine blo\u00dfe Verlagerung der Energiepolitik sein kann, sondern eine gesellschaftliche Transformation erfordert, die sich an Menschenrechten und Gerechtigkeit orientiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wie das Umweltprogramm der Vereinten Nationen (UNEP) heute feststellt, gewinnt angesichts des Klimawandels eine andere Kraft an Dynamik: kollektives Handeln. FI wird weiterhin Seite an Seite mit all jenen auf der ganzen Welt stehen, die das Ausma\u00df der Krise erkennen, vor der wir stehen, und die das einfache Bekenntnis des Weltumwelttags 2026 teilen \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/observances\/environment-day\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jetzt f\u00fcr das Klima!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-background has-small-font-size\" style=\"background-color:#f5f6f7\">Dies ist eine automatische \u00dcbersetzung.
